How often to change your email?

I was wondering if each email address probably has a shelf life before you make it onto a sweeper list and they skip over you if your entry is pulled. Is that a reality or is it okay to keep using the same one indefinitely as long as you're not cheating?

I've never changed my email since I've had a computer. Too much trouble and I don't think it matters.

I think it's best to use one, no need to change it.
