How Many Emails Do You Get?

I go through about 500-700 per day.

Hoping no to miss anything!

Wow, that is a lot. Do you go through them quickly, not opening most of them?

I think I get 200 - 300 per day.

Wowwwww, that is a lot! I get MAYBE 100 a day. I am quick on the "unsubscribe" button though.

Yes, I just scan the email Senders Name and the first part of the message. Luckily Hotmail shows the first sentence without opening the email. You set that as Preview

I also re-scan after I delete them ( the Delete folder )

1.Scan all Emails
2.Delete all emails - that are not winners
3.Scan Delete Folder
4.Finally Clean Out the Deleted Folder

In Box should be clean
Delete Folder should be clean

This is how I make sure nothing gets by me, I hope.

I get about 400, but I need go get better at unsubbing from stuff...

I have yahoo mail and I use the search function for keywords -congrat, win, won..I scan more carefully through the emails with those keywords. I also scan my spam email.

I quickly scan everything else and then delete.

You do not want to know. Ok you do. I get almost a 1000 a day. It's SO HARD to keep up. UGH. But I like to subscribe because I get notice of new contests as they start, and therefore giving myself better odds.

I also do the searching of key words as well. Another good idea.

I'd estimate I'm only getting about 50-75 a day, and that's certainly not for lack of entering sweeps. I guess I'm fairly good at keeping myself off of lists. I'm on GMail and I like it because it filters almost everything to the Promotions section, where I can scan the subject lines, mark it as read and move on without having to deal with it in my main Inbox.

About 500 per day, I scan keywords also and certain site names to make sure I am not deleting winning emails
