How many do you enter daily/how often?

So I think these questions were asked previously somewhere but I couldn't find the thread, and figured the answers probably have changed some from person to person since then, so I ask again:

How many sweeps total would each of you say you enter daily? Including all daily/one entry/etc.
How long does it usually take you?
Do you enter EVERY day? If not, how many days a week/month would you say you enter?

Mostly curious =)

Varies - at least, 100 up to 350.

How long does it usually take you?
Depends on if I stagger throughout the day or just knock them out in a block, but with being able to set up my own categories in PLUS, using robo and SWEEPSPOP, an hour or so.

Do you enter EVERY day? If not, how many days a week/month would you say you enter?
I usually skip 1 day a week to avoid burnout.

What's more important than what others do is what you want, and how much time you have and are willing to devote. If you just want to win, regardless of what you win then enter every sweep that you are eligible to enter. Alternately, you can set limits and not enter a sweep unless it meets the criteria you set.

Some of us have unlimited time to enter sweeps while others don't.

To compare yourself with someone else is meaningless as you each will have different needs/desires and time available to enter.

Do you want to get loaded down with a lot of $25 or $50 ARV daily entry sweeps or are you going to set a floor limit of $100 or some other figure. I have a floor limit, but it's not cast in concrete. If it's a quick easy entry with lots of gift cards I might enter even though it's below my floor limit.

There’s no point in entering a sweep with a trip as the prize if you can’t or don’t want to go, and most of ‘em you can’t sell. The same applies to a sweep with an object or service as the prize. If you can’t/won’t use it then there is no point in entering unless you’re going to try to sell it. An individual recently won a SA Plus membership and posted it for sale in these Forums for $30 – that’s the same price SA charges, but someone bought it. Probably at a discount.

If you aren’t familiar with “creative presentation sweeps” then you should Google them to become knowledgeable. Many of them don’t disclose how many sweeps are included and I consider them a waste of time.

If a sweep has a "cash option" shown in the rules that's normally a no brainer for me unless I can't/won't meet the entry requirements.

Take some time, kick back, put your thinking cap on and decide what you want and how much time you are willing to devote and then go for it. Don’t be swayed by someone who says they enter x number of sweeps daily, because what they do doesn’t fit your situation.

I think it's fun to know what everyone else does. I have between 75 and 100 that I do every day usually. When I have time I will do single entries, a few blogs, and all those magazine creative presentation ones. I don't use a form filler, I only enter for myself, and I take about 2 -3 hours a day to do it. But that is messing around with emails, facebook, and getting bored and wandering around on the internet too. I can't do a trip right now so I am skipping them, and I only enter if I want the prize. I try to do every day, but I do skip a day here and there. I seem to win coupons or something tiny a couple times a month, and something a little bigger a couple times a year. Though I have already gone a few months without winning a thing.

It's not about the competition, just exciting to know if you're keeping up with all you sweepers out there haha! I've really enjoyed doing this since I started in March.

It varies on how many I enter. I guess it takes a couple of hours a day for me to enter them. I used to enter for almost everything, but now I only enter for things I really want like a $50 Amazon gift card. I don't go after the big non-cash prizes like trips to Hawaii because I am poor and can't afford the taxes on that kind of thing.
 
I enter about 5-6 days a week. I enter for the prizes I really want to win - with the exception of instant wins (I will enter most all of them, except pch, or gsn, etc.). I enter for the bigger prizes (cars, trips, $$). I enter about 300-450 a day, which include 1x, daily, and instants. I love sweepstakes but sure have noticed that there have not been nearly as many people winning as there used to be when I first started sweeping in 2006. My biggest prize to day is $10,000 shopping spree. I've won 2 trips.. No car yet, but can't wait to win one... hubby really needs a new car.. good luck all
 
This is one of my fave sweepstakes questions because I like learning now or learn about other sweepers strategies and experiences. I'm always kind of curious to learn other people's entering habits and I'm frequently impressed at how much people enter!!

1. How many sweeps total would each of you say you enter daily? This number really varies on my mood and whats going on inn my work, school, personal life. Right now I am entering 32 dailies, 37 instant dailies, 33 weekly, and 5 monthly. Right now I am entering a lot less than usual, normally I probably do about 100 or so daily. I have no clue how many one entries I do..a lot!! Plus, my text message sweeps, mailins (which I do occasionally), the occasional blog sweep, local sweeps, and I've recently been trying out twitter parties.

2. How long does it usually take you? Unfortunately, my computer is extremely old and has been super slow recently and that why I've really cut back on how much I enter. I don't enter all my sweeps at once, so I'm not really sure how long it takes me-maybe an hour or 2?

3. Do you enter EVERY day? If not, how many days a week/month would you say you enter? I try to do my instants and text message sweeps daily. With the other sweeps, it depends on my mood..but I probably enter at least 5 days out of the week.

Thanks for everyone's responses! I probably do around 400 a day on the days that I do enter. It's actually pretty relaxing, and I do it while my boyfriend and I watch our TV shows so it doesn't feel like I'm completely wasting the time haha.

Hi Justice,

The 10 grand was for Overstock.com. The 2 trips: San Luis Obispo and Hawaii. One was from a Facebook sweep and the other from the radio station. Both tirps were off the hook funnnnnnn. Great times. I need to win another one speaking of. Ha! good luck to you too.

You enter 400 a day?! Whaaattt?! I'm always impressed when people tell me they enter that much. Even at my highest, I never entered that much daily. I think anything that you enjoy doing is never a waste of time, so enter to your hearts content!! I usually listen to music or watch tv when I am entering as well. The more you enter, the more likely you are to win, so keep going. Despite my not entering as much as others, I've managed a pretty decent haul of wins (although that hgtv home still eludes me, ha!). And yes, I am hoping to win a new computer or laptop!
