how long to wait for prize?

Hello SA,

As a newbie, I'm wondering how long it usually takes for you to receive a prize. If it fails to arrive, do you contact the sponsor, or just write it off?

I supposedly won a $15 iTunes gift card back on April 14 in the Universal Studios Simpsons ride game and received a confirmation email immediately, but no news and no gift card since then. Around the same time, I had an IW magazine subscription in The Maids contest... but no magazine yet. Is it common for prize fulfillment to take 2 months?

On the other hand, I can't complain... my $500 Bed&Breakfast win this week arrived by next day mail, and that's the only big thing I've ever won. At least I got that one!

Afraid I'm getting hooked on this sweeping thing....

As to fullfillment? It is different for each sponsor/JA {Judging Authority - ie: eprize, etc} I've waited 3 months (my laptop) and I've gotten prizes while a sweeps was still running but the norm is 8-10 weeks AFTER the sweeps ends - check the rules to make sure.

welcome and congrats on the wins. Like amy said each sweep is different. with eprize sweeps the norm is 8-10 weeks after the promotion ends. some send the prizes right away, usually the smaller sites, and some take forever.. my very first win took 10 months to get to me. :laughing: That isnt the norm though.

Im still waiting on my merry maids wins also.. I dont worry about it until its several weeks past the 10 week mark.
