How long before you won your first big prize?

:wave: I started 'sweeping' in early June this year, and won a few small prizes (ring tones, one bag of Mike & Ike's candy, and the Shutterfly photo album from Old Navy) in the first few days.
After that, I've not won a single thing..and I've been entering at least 50 different contests each day, some days I'll do 100 or more!

Should I quit or continue for a while longer? Frustrating to keep seeing the Loser screen many times a day :hammer:

Oh funny, I even received an email from one movie contest telling me the winner had been chosen, and it wasn't me (duh!)

It can get frustrating but dont give up. ya just gotta enter, enter, and enter some more. It coud take months after a sweep ends to find out if you have won. are you just doing instants? spread your entries around. dont enter for stuff you dont want but if you are only entering the really big sweeps your odds arent that good. you could win of course, it only takes one entry right? but I would enter other sweeps as well. hit the expiring sweeps too. It has been a slow couple of months for me as well. the instants have been awful. are you using robo form? makes it go much faster. I dumped alot of my daily sweeps but still enter on average 300-400 a day. you dont have to enter that many and can still win. I just like to enter for small stuff. :laughing: I hope you win something really great soon. dont give up.
 
Thanks so much for the tips and encouragement! I enter a variety of sweeps including a few instants, and try to always look thru the expiring ones - I'll hang on and keep entering!

There are lots of things I'm interested in that seem not to attract a lot of entries, so maybe one day:))

:sunny: The big wins come fast for some and a long time for others. I have been sweeping steadily since 1999. It wasn't until a little over a year ago that I got my first big win and have won 2 other big wins (over $1000 value) since. So you see it has nothing to do with how long. You just have to be persistant, consistant and patient.
Good Luck to you and hopefully you won't have to wait as long as I did to win something big.
 
ceredo... This isn't magic, you can't snap your fingers and win your dream vacation sweeps... i was like you in the beginning, wanting to win and win quickly.. I've only been sweeping fora year. People who have this hobby as we do have taught me to stay at it and be patient. You will win... Just keep positive and keep it fun.. Good luck to you...
