How Long before 1st win?

Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to sweeps, been doing them about a month, those and instant prize games. I enter everything I possibly can, about 60 sweeps a day, and about 20 instant wins a day and haven't won a darn thing.
Is there any site that seems to give out prizes easily? I just want something to say, "Hey I won" : :wave:
How long were you sweeping before any kind of win?

hi and welcome to sa :wave: The instants have been a little stingy lately but its all about timing with those. It can take months to find out about a win from a daily or 1x... I wish I knew of a site where it was easy to win. :laughing: 60 sweeps a day really isnt alot. I enter around 400 a day and some here enter 700+ each and every day. The more ya enter the better the chance of winning something. Just keep trying and the wins will come.. Are you using robo or atleast autofill? makes it easier and faster to enter more sweeps. also check out the freebies. Not usually anything great but its still nice to get something in the mail. keeping my fingers crossed that ya get a win soon

You have to be persistant everyday and not give up, some win sooner than others but, don't let this discourage you're new hobby.

I personally enter as many instants as possible because, that is where about 98% of my wins come from. I have been entering sweeps on and offline for a long while now but, I seriously got into sweeping in 2004. It took me over 6 months to win my first prize which was a $50 blockbuster GC. I can still remember that moment to this day.

I enter a lot of other sweeps but, I don't have time to be faithful to my daily sweeps as I would like. I enter as many 1x sweeps as I can that I am interested in. One piece of advice is don't enter for any and every sweep there is. It is very time consuming, pick the sweeps you are interested in and increase your sweeping average of entered sweeps per day.

As 3mnkids1 mentioned, get robo and check out the freebies! Also, don't fall for those sweepstakes programs that claim they will enter for you for a fee. Those can and will get you DQ'd from sweeps.

Not lately - there used to be quite a few "gimme" sweeps (where just about everyone won a small prize) but I haven't seen those in a long time :)

While it's true the more sweeps you enter, the higher your odds, it's all a matter of timing for IW's:

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants!

IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't.

But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!


Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:

I can't wait to post my first win!! :)

Yes I do use roboform, and boy what a difference that makes!
