my total ARV was $5,885.00... not shabby but just over half of what it was last year. I cant complain I did win some really great things this year. The last couple of months have been slower than usual but I am looking forward to 2009. How about you? How were the wins for you this year.
 
Well, I do FMV for the IRS, but don't really post values publicly unless the prize was strictly cash or gift card. I had a great year for me, even though I had a late start due to travel, illness, and carpal tunnel. My full list is on my new blog (see signature).

I hope everyone gets lots of wins that truly make them happy in 2009!
 
2008 Wins-$1925.30

Includes prizes not received, very over inflated prizes and prizes I just gave away (codes). None of my prizes showed true values except GC's so my total is aprox. retail, not fair market value.

Loren - I'm with you....it was not a great year for prizes...I'm going to look through my stuff now and see what I did actually win...I can't even remember, except for a few!

It's time to change your hat buddy...can you come up with something cool for New Year's for us to enjoy?

I went through my wins of 2008 file and here's kind of what I came up with.


BIG WINS:
Sony Bravia Home Theater System from Marlboro sweepstakes Flavor chase (around October)
$1,000 check from Kewl Cash Giveaway (FEBRUARY)
$500 from Reader's Digest "Spin to Win" (AROUND MAY/JUNE)
10 pc. Stainless Steel cookware from Rachael Ray/Nabisco (JANUARY)

My instants broke down like this (gift card wins, most but not all through ePrize). I don't remember if the Splenda Operation Sweet was through ePrize (don't think so), but if that is the case, I haven't won an instant win from ePrize since October (that was a free night at El Dorado)...prior to that it was since August from ePrize, and that was a $5 Nationwide gift card. July from ePrize was $5 Starbucks and $10 soccer.com. Wow...that's all I can say...It's a sad state of affairs!
