Has any one seen a winner's list for the Home Depot Commercial Card ford sweepstakes Truck Sweepstake? Sweepstake ended Jult 31, 2012 and the official rules said that the winner's list would be posted on or around October 17, 2012 at http://bit.ly/Aa1bt5. Do I have the wrong link or is it possible that they still don't have a winner's list posted on eprize? Anyone know.

Thanks in advance.

Good luck and keep sweepin'! :headbang:

It's completely possible they don't have a winners list yet...I think, more often than not, the drawings are later than expected...or at least posted later than expected. I was notified of a large trip win 2 months after the suppossed drawing date once so maybe I was an alternate and this could be the case here as well.

Yeah, you won't find out if you won from the winner's list for the biggies, only for daily prize types

Okay, thanks Gates 2112 and Amy! I guess I'm really curious because I mailed in about 210 entries throughout that whole sweeps and they said that each mail-in was worth 6 entries so that's a 1260 entries. I'm sure that some were disqualified for whatever reason (the usual "couldn't read an email address" or just illegible - even though I print very well). So what I'm saying is that I can't believe I didn't even win a gift card!

Amy, I think the link you posted for the winner's list is actually for the 4th quarter sweepstakes that ends 12/15/12. The weird thing is that I can't even find that new sweepstakes on SA. It started 10/15/12 but I'm not finding a listing.

Thanks again to both of you for your help!

Let me re-phrase that, I'm disappointed that with all those entries I didn't at least win a gift card! Most have been alot of people entering in addition to all the entries via credit card purchase.

I hear you - snails seem like a lock, until you don't win! I won 3 whole snail sweeps back in the 80's, out of the many many hundreds of entries I sent in, and I only won 1 snail sweeps when I started entering again in 2004!

Is this the sweeps you mean for the new one:

I found it trying to find the Home Depot Commercial Card Ford Truck Sweepstakes, so I posted it.

Looks like some info was left off SA's listing & yeah, the rules just show the newest sweeps???

Amy, yes that's the current one. Thanks for posting it. Maybe I'll try again with this one. This might be a stupid question, but when these snail mail sweeps say that each individual entry is worth 6 or 9 additional entries or whatever the number is in official rules, how exactly do they give you that many entries? I thought maybe it was like BINGO where they just stick all the entries in a big barrel. I remember entering snails way back when and I used to try different things (colored paper, folding my 3 X 5, stickers). I also remember how much my hand hurt from writing all the cards and envelopes out. Whew! Times change. Is it now input onto a computer or what? I guess since another method of entry was through a purchase on your HD credit card those would also be added. Just wondering?

Thanks for your help!

I think I read somewhere that they assign your entry a # {so 6 #'s per mail in} let the computer algorithm pick the winner(s), then they match the # to the entry?

I truly don't know :crazytongue:

... is it possible that they still don't have a winner's list posted on eprize?...

I don't know. If you (or someone else) still has the link to the rules for that sweep, you could check your link. Perhaps they are having issues qualifying a winner and have to find alternate winner(s).
