Help??

So I've been sweeping for about 5 months. And so far I've won nothing. Everyone I've talked to says this is the best site ever to win on. I even had one friend win after 3 days! Am I just being impatient, or am I doing something wrong. Any help, hints, advice, or tips would be very appreciated.

Yup be patient and enter as often as you can.

but the best advice I can give you is to have fun with it
and the wins will come.

Some folks win frequently and some don't. The best answer is just to enter, enter, enter and
keep on going. Someday there will be a prize in/on your mailbox, doorstep or an announcemnet
in your emails. Just remember with the emails (my rule, of course) if it looks fake then it really
probably is. You have to be careful, I personally, don't respond to anything that looks like it
could be from a foreign country.
 
For months when I first started, I entered many (too many for me) smaller sweeps. During that time I would win a few things as I went, but it was getting old (again this is just me, you must do what is right for you). I have now reduced the number I do each day, and target only those I really would like to win. So now, I hardly win anything, but I know why. Maybe it is the same with you and what types of sweeps you enter?
 
The smaller sweeps with shorter entry periods may have smaller prizes & you may want to enter these just so you are winning something. The bigger ones with long entry periods are harder to win but somebody has to win---! With the dailys it can be time consuming to enter every one every day so I just pick a few every day so I am at least entering once a week. Just be sure its a fun hobby & not a chore!!! Good luck!
 
The #1 issue I have seen with people's lack of wins is their email. Make sure to manage your email and check your spam folder for win notifications.. :)

It took me 6 months {the average btw} of entering every single day to win - your friend is the exception, not the rule!!! :)

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:
 
ok I have memory problems and this is my best advice. Read the rules. You do not have to read all of them, as you go along you get used to them and kinda glance over them. Ok if I am wrong, someone please correct me but I found one thing I have been doing so wrong and disqualifying myself. I learned and love roboform but if the rules say NO scripts, Macros or Bots or other automated means? I think that means no roboform. Am I correct fellow sweepers? I really need to know for sure. Could expain my dry streaks which seem unending. I so thought I could outnumber the odds. Wrong. For a solid year I have done sweeping day and night. I know with my memory I make mistakes like entering a OTO more than once but gees. My wins are nowhere near a single win from most. I like the 25 GC and such but it is a well deserved break I am on now and perhaps for good. It gets very discouraging loosing which I seem to do best. :wave: I started this just to relearn typing and maybe get my Grandchild some college money. I am poor really poor and the connection is a luxury but I thought just maybe I could help her into college. I do have some put away but if she depends on me its gonna be sad. I tried I gave it my all.
 
make sure you do the instants everyday. that is where most of my wins come from. i've won alot on the "one time entry" too. i have very rarely won on the dailies. and i know other people who have won alot on the dailies. it's just the luck of the draw. but, keep entering.

also , make sure you enter alot of local contests. your chances of winning are much higher. good luck. and keep sweeping
