Help needed

For the past couple of days, when I click on a link it opens up a very small new window. Then I have to maximize it to see it. It really isn't a big deal, but since I enter so many, the less clicking I have to do the better. I just want it back the way it was and I don't have a clue how to change it. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link and your help. I tried everything it said to do on the site, but it's still not working. I don't have globe they mentioned on my IE browser, If that matters. It has changed once before, but opened half size instead of minimized and some how corrected itself so maybe it will do it again.

Okay, try this, when the window comes up, DON'T maximize it. Grab the corner of it (when the diagonal arrow appears) then drag it into a larger screen. You can do this with all four corners, so make it as big as you like. Then the next time you click on a link, the window should come up as big as you made the last one.

If you hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the window to the new size, then still holding the Ctrl key - X out or close your browser, that should do it. Then log back on.

That was what the sites instructions were to do; but the question is is did "jeffandchristie" restart her computer. The instructions are basically to go to the corners and drag out the window until it's at full size and restart your computer. That should fix it. Your computer will always resize the window to the last size you had it open to before shutting down.

Thanks again for your help and suggestions. I have tried EVERYTHING, including restarting the browser and computer. I just tried holding the control key and restarted after all of that...still isn't working. There must be something wrong with my computer...or the kids have jacked with it again. Don't you love teens? You can blame them for everything and your usually right. :crazytongue:

:headbang: Well if you have teens in the house, ask them. They will probably know how to fix it! Teens are so smart about these things.

I tried holding Ctrl again this a.m. and it worked! Thanks so much.
I had to close everything except the window I was working in. I think that was the problem, that or my computer is in a better mood today. It frustrates me when I can't figure something out.
Happy Sweeping All, GL!
