We all have heard about the How to catch a predator show.. I need to Catch a mail thief.. looking for somebody to mail a package for me (sounds odd, I know) but the package will be left open for you to seal, so there is no question about iffy contents, which will be traceable if used by anyone. I will send you package via fedex and will pay for USPS delivery charge and will also let you use my $100 gift code that I won from Etching Expressions... The first person to email me that really wants to help-not just for the gift code, but is fed up with the thieves out there will get to do it... please email me direct [email protected] thanks Jeanne
 
Also, if you think it might be your mail carrier, my dad is a mail carrier and i might be able to get you some federal phone numbers or something. Just let me know. :)
 
thank you katiesmom, I think it is the mail handler for the station.. I have made several complaints to the supervisors there and made 3 reports to the postal inspector.. have been told that there is nothing that can be done about packages that do not have a tracking number on them.... also I am still getting some things as long as they have delivery confirmation on them, but those are the only things... my breaking point has been the last 2 weeks where the post office has "lost" 2 different DVD's a book a CD and that latest thing was a $25 Target Gift Card.....I don't want to even enter anymore contests, just so somebody else can't get my stuff... :cry:
 
I feel really bad for you. I will talk to my dad and see if there is anything else you can do. It is late here now so I will give him a call tomorrow when he gets out of work. Hang in there, please don't stop sweeping because of that. Is there another address you can have your things sent? I will either post here or pm you tomorrow after I talk to my dad. :)
 
See if you can get your local news/congress critters/City Council/etc. to get involved - gl! :wave:
 
Thanks Katiesmom @ Amy, I would do that but my problem is- are the sponsors really sending them?? I have got so many different scenarios going on in my head that I don't know what to believe any more.. Just to let everybody know, that I have never gone into the post office pointing fingers or accusing people (just to clear that up). also they do not have reports of anybody else "loosing" their mail. I have a locked clusterbox with the only key and nothing has ever been left on my porch from the post office.. And since I last posted I received an email from Obsessed With Music stating I won a CD- I emailed them back to thank them and also told them that if they don't use delivery confirmation, to please pick another winner as I will never get it... :cry: Ok, time for bed I am just taking this way to serious and upsetting myself..

ltlbitone - OK, sounds like you see a pattern here - I'm assuming multiple sponsors/fulfillment companies, right?

I'd start on my end;

Is my autofill/robo putting in my correct address/name/etc?

Am I using a physical address or a PO box? Buried in most rules is NO to PO boxes, since people cheated and ruined it for everyone :nono:

If my robo is correct, I have a physical address, and it is happening with multiple sponsors/fulfillment companies, THEN I'd be concerned

But, I'd probably start with the sponsors/fulfillment companies, to see if they have different info on file or something - I'd try to reconfirm my info whenever I had a win.

I know - that is useless for surprise wins, but, it's a place to start! :sunny:

I won a Styx CD/DVD from Obsessed With Music about a month ago and it came in my mailbox and I didn't sign for anything. Sorry about your mail. I hope you can get to the bottom of it.
 
I talked to my dad and he really only had 3 suggestions. 1. Keep up with your complaints, they may already be doing an investigation. They can't tell you if they are or not and an investigation can take a year. 2. See if the company sending you your prizes can make it delivery confirmation, that way the mail carrier has to sign that they delivered your mail. 3. Can you have your prizes shipped to a friend's house or a relative. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful and hopefully this will all stop soon. Good Luck :)
