Hello & Entering Snail Mail Sweepstakes

Hello, my name is Alexa and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I recently became a Sweepstakes Plus member and I'm trying to get myself familiar with the benefits of being a sweepstakes Plus member. Does anyone enter snail mail sweepstakes? If you do, could you please share with me the correct way to enter these sweepstakes? Do you use colored envelopes? Do you decorate your envelopes? Do you use 8 1/2 x 11 blank sheets for your entries? I'm just curious. I'd like to enter correctly, but can't find any info on the correct way. Thanks for your help. Happy sweeping everyone! :wave:

Snail sweeps will tell you in the rules what is/isn't allowed. Most ask for 3x5 index cards or paper - use what they specify.

As to decorating/using colored envelopes? Some swear by them, but since it's supposed to be a random draw, they probably have sorters that rip them open to get the card, and the envelope is never seen by the judging agency.

Like with any sweeps, enter as often as the rules allow, and forget it, move on to the next sweeps, and gl!!! :sunny:

Here's a tip: buy packs of 3"x5" ruled index cards and fill them out while you're watching sports or something that doesn't require constant attention, then store them for when you need them. Leave space on the top line as they sometimes want you to write in the name of the sweepstakes there.
