Has the weather changed yet where you live?

I know a while back after Ike we all had cooler weather. Well It's still hot here in Texas. I sure wish we had fall here. We go from summer to winter.

I sure miss the snow.

I'm still using the air conditioner. You guys get the leaves changing though don't you? That would be really pretty I bet.

We don't really get much of a fall foliage. The leaves usually just drop off eventually. Upstate New York and New England are known for their fall foliage, but you need the right weather and the right amount of rain to get the bright colors. During summers where there isn't much rain, the colors are dull and brownish. With the weather switching around and getting more milder up here, we used to have better colors in the fall years ago.

We still are using the air conditioning on and off. At night, we either put it on low air or fan; because, we have a one-story house, and with the children, we don't want open unlocked windows at night.

After Ike it was much cooler but, now range in the 80's and slightly humid on some days. I love how it looks here during the fall, I'm going to take several pictures of the fall changes this year.

It's been chilly all week here in CO. Today was sunny but cool. Should be chilly again tonight. The Aspens have turned and our willow is starting to drop leaves. It's definitely fall. We normally get snow by Halloween Sweepstakes so two more weeks and it should be really cold.

Hey dark I lived in Denver for 12 years and when I say I miss snow I am talking about Denver. Ny inlaws are in Littleton and yep I remember the snow on Halloween. I love Denver.

Yeah, there's two things you can count on with Colorado weather:

1 - Snow right around Halloween
2 - Temperature change when the front range gets windy

Otherwise the old saying is "Don't like the weather? Stick around for 15 minutes, it'll change"

:sunny: Here on the Oregon coast the temperatures don't vary alot. One of the reasons I love it here. No need for air conditioning. It was in the middle 60's her today and sunny. It rarely gets below 30 degrees here in the winter and rarely gets over 80 in the summer. Pretty mild all year.

Finally turning the AC off, just the last two days (DFW area). Next 10 days are supposed to stay in the 70's, so we should have at least some time with neither AC or heat!

Friday, it was an absolutely beautiful day! Low humidity, cool crisp air, temps in the upper 60s, crystal blu skies which contrasted nicely with the deep green of the trees. A near-perfect day.

Sounds great. My kind of weather.
