Q. What is Mountain Dew Game Fuel Slurpee ®?
A. Dew with Invigorating Blast of Cherry Citrus available now for limited time only in 7-Eleven stores nationally.
Q. How long is the contest?
A. The game starts online at 12:00:00 A.m. (ET) on September 1, 2007 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on September 30, 2007.
Q. Where can I find the UPC?
A. Look for the UPC on the back side of each product, like the one shown here.
Q. What if I am having difficulty accessing the contest website?
A. There are three major items to consider: Internet connection speed, website address, and website traffic. Due to the intensity of the Be In the Game experience, dial-up Internet connections may take awhile to access the web site and older computers may be challenged to keep up. Please also make sure that the spelling of the website address entered is correct:
www.beinthegame.com. Traffic to the website may also be an issue. At various times of day (around lunch and dinner) the website will register more traffic than others. It may take longer to load the website during these times of the day.
Q. How do I play?
A. Internet access and registration with Pepsi is required. Once you have registered for the Promotion, you can play by entering your email address. Each time you enter your email address you will receive one (1) opportunity to play for a chance to win one of the prizes. Limit three entries per Account per day. A day is understood to start at 12:00:01 A.m. ET and end at 11:59:59 p.m. ET the same day.
Q. How will I know if I am a winner?
A. All potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about October 2, 2007 by an independent judging agency whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Entry submitted is only eligible for this Sweepstakes. Any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
Q. Can anyone win?
A. Promotion open only to legal United States residents residing within the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and 18 years of age or older (19 in AL or NE) or Canadian resident (Excluding Quebec) age of majority or older throughout the sweepstakes period. . Potential winners may be required to provide proof of legal U.S. or Canadian residency if requested by Sponsor to determine eligibility and as a condition of prize award. Winners subject to verification. Canadian residents must correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question, to be administered at a mutually convenient time, before being declared a winner. Employees of 7-Eleven and its and their participating 7-Eleven Stores, franchisees and their employees, Microsoft Company, Pepsi-Cola Company, Pepsi-QTG Canada and its bottlers, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, suppliers, printers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies and the immediate family members of such employees (parent, child, sibling, spouse) and persons living in the same household as such employees (whether related or not) are not eligible to win.
Q. How can I enter if I dont purchase a Mountain Dew Game Fuel Slurpee ®, a Mountain Dew Game Fuel beverage or Doritos ®?
A. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You do not have to purchase any product to participate in the sweeps. You do, however, need to enter your email address in the entry box on the Web Site and click where indicated to submit entry. If you are not registered on the Web Site, you will be required to complete the registration page located on the Web Site before entering the Sweepstakes. If you are registered but do not have a complete mailing address (street/city/state/province/zip code/postal code) on file with Sponsor, you will be required to update your mailing address under the "Update Profile" section of the Web Site before entry will be accepted. Limit three (3) entries per email address per each day of the Sweepstakes Period. For purposes of these rules, a day is defined as 12:00:00 A.m. ET through 11:59:59 p.m. ET. The computer clock of Sponsors webmaster is the official timekeeping device of the Sweepstakes.
Q. How and when will I receive my prize?
A. Potential winners will be notified by postal mail at the postal address on file with Sponsor. Any winner notification returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address will result in prize forfeiture and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsors discretion. Potential winners may be required to sign and return to Sponsor an Affidavit of Eligibility/ Liability Release with (where lawful) a publicity release for receipt by Sponsor by the due date indicated in the notification letter (which may be within seven (7) days or less of notification). In addition, Grand Prize winner will be required to complete and sign release documents provided by Microsoft in connection with the visit to Ensemble Studios and the invitation to participate in the voice recording portion of the prize.If any required documents are not returned within the required number of days, or if any mail is returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address, then prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsors discretion.
