Came back from vacation yesterday and found boxes downstairs that my father-in-law brought in for me. Won a t-shirt from Zaggat, won first prize in the M&M's Brand "Win Kyle's Car" Sweepstakes which was a 1:24 scale NASCAR car ( I love these cars, they're cool). Also won a 12 inch triple ply skillet ARV $135 from Le Creuset, but the big thing was a fed ex envelope in-between my kitchen doors. It was the Grand Prize for the 2009 "Coors Light 4- Day NASCAR Weekend" sweepstakes sponsored by MillerCoors LLC. The prize is for the Lifelock.com 400 in Chicago, IL on 7-11-09. It encludes a Coors light 4'day NASCAR weekend for a vip experience for winner and one guest to the race and other promotional and hospitality events which may include events such as a meet-and-greet with a NASCAR official and/or racing-team members, access to the Coors Light Pole Day, access to the Coors Light Pole presentation, pictures and meet-and-greet with the winning Coors Light Pole driver, Coors Light RV VIP hospitality, and a guided VIP tour, round-trip coach air transportation and $750 in the form of a check. Some, but not all, winners may also have the opportunity to wave the green flag during a qualifying race. Approximate Retail Value is $3,240. They are giving away about 50 of these I think. I was so excited until I found out my husband has to be out of town that week for work. Your guest has to be at least 21 also, so my son can't go. My best friend can't get off work, and the only other friend's, that I would consider taking , mother has been in and out of the hospital after a tumor surgery recently. Unfortunately her mother has had some serious backsets. She is afraid to go out of town for that long, which is very understandable. Her husband wants to go, but that would be a bit awkward needless to say, not that I wouldn't completely trust him. So there is no way that I can accept this. The papers that I received specifies that it can't be transferred, or sold, it has to be accepted in full. Also no cash exchange either. I want to go really bad, oh well, I hope that some of you get drawn as the alternate winner. Sorry this got long. :booty"

You should still ask if you can bring someone under 21. If they're not old enough to go into certain areas, they can always wait in the stands (given they're old enough like a teenager). We had that stated in the rules of the Las Vegas trip we won, but we still brought our baby daughter with us.

I thought about going by myself but it's usually not near as fun. If it was okay with them to take my son even though he is only 16 I'd take him. My husband is afraid it would be way to much walking for me right now. He's probably right. I have been dealing with a foot and back issue. My doctor put me on pain medicine for our trip that we just took so that I wouldn't have any issues and it was mostly walking on the beach. I'll have to really think about it. It really does sound like a lot of fun though. Oh, if I was just 10,20 30 years younger,LOL.

There really shouldn't be much walking. It mostly entails sitting in the stands. In the hospitality tent, they have tables and chairs set up; and they usually do a driver meet and greet in there and serve food buffet-style. The VIP tour is usually checking out the tractor trailer car carrier, garage, etc. There shouldn't be much of any walking for that.

You could also check if they could provide you with a mobility device. Wheelchair, scooter. I'm blind as a bat and about as cordinated as dead parrot yet I just made a cross country trip sucessfully, with a variety of folks pushing, dragging and leading me. And, in the case of the airlines, getting thrown up on in the process. I even got to ride a Segway which was wayyy cool. Contact the venue and tell them you have mobility issues, you may be surprised how much they can do for you!
