Halloween Help

I need some ideas please! My son and his girlfriend are going to a Halloween Sweepstakes party. The problem is she already has a costume and I need help. She is going as a sailor and I need ideas for what my son should be so they look like a "couple". I am relatively good at sewing and crafts, so don't hold back on any ideas that would win them 1st prize. Thanks for any help!
