GRAND PRIZE WINNER, but, may have to give it up because of travel. Am trying to see if the can make the whole prize cash instead of $6500.00 cash and travel. Pray.

So sorry you were unable to claim the grand prize. You sound like such a good person I pray that something good will come to you and your husband.

Yes, I am praying too. "Lord, I pray in Jesus' name that these sponsors will allow a cash alternative". If I were you, I would get all the medical documentation regarding your husband's condition together in a hurry. They need to see the proof. I would go ahead and ask for a fax number or email to whoever is heading the prize distribution and submit it along with a letter. How is your relationship with your his medical provider? I would ask them to submit a letter for backup. Don't give up yet:)

Congrats on the win maybe the sweepstakes gods will bring you another win. I had to turn down a few because of taxes and different other issues, no cash alts either I entered those same as Spanish camel sweepstakes for smaller prizes . l was lucky however to be able to enjoy 2 other trip wins that I could accept
 
I have been in your shoes before---I, too, won a trip once. To Miami (anyway it would have been a dream trip BUT) I could not travel so I forfeited my prize. I tried for a cash alternative & called the company- it was a no go and the phone call lasted all but two minutes....The win notice was REALLY*REALLY exciting though! I could not believe it! The lesson I learned, not to enter for trips or be prepared to decline when the win notice comes if a trip is a prize. I wasn't trying for a trip ... But, keep on entering 'cause I have had some good wins since that trip stuff happened.

I also wish the best for you & your husband. I know health is a fragile thing unfortunately :(
