Received this today for this weekend and can't get off work!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! On behalf of Jersey Mike’s and League of Legends, I’m excited to inform you that you’ve been selected as the Grand Prize winner of the Jersey Mike’s League of Legends Sweepstakes.



As the winner, you will receive a trip for two (2) to the 2018 North America League of Legends Championship Series Summer Finals scheduled to take place in Oakland, California on September 8-9, 2018. Your prize package will include the following:

· Round trip coach class airfare for two (2) from your nearest major airport to the host city of Oakland, California

· Three (3) nights standard double occupancy (one (1) room) hotel accommodations

· Two (2) tickets to the Summer Finals
 
Sorry you can't go. :( I'm always surprised when I see trip sweeps that don't end until really close to the trip dates! As if we can just drop everything and go on the spur of the moment! Maybe you'll win another trip soon. :)
 
I agree about the sweeps that give you so little time. That happened to me, too! Sorry about the trip. Is it possible to gift it to someone else?
 
Can I buy the trip from you since you can't use it? Or are you required to go?

I couldn't take a trip I won to NYC for the same reason. But I could make this one.
 
Too bad. Gotta say though, that the date of the event was clearly posted in the sweeps advertising and official rules.

If you couldn't get that specific time off you probably shouldn't have entered. Not all sweeps choose another winner
to give the prize to if the originally winner declines the prize. So...Nobody wins! :(
 
rozalenj - I can't access the rules, did they also clearly state that the notification window would be very short?

Choosing to enter or not is a personal decision, made when we first hear of a specific promo.

There is no way of knowing that your entry will be the one selected, so ensuring that all probable trip dates of every sweeps you enter for will be available if you are lucky enough to be selected is impossible.
