Grand Prize Question

I won one of the 5 grand prize trips to the Daytona 500 on friday from the Gatorade Promo and I was thrilled, but my husband and I just found out that he will be training during that time and there is no chance we can go (I was so looking forward to this, I love Nascar), The Prize is non transferable. My question is, do you think if I explained this to them that there is a chance of a smaller prize? I am so bummed but there is no one else to go with and my kids will be preparing for the fcat testing . Thanks. :cry:
 
congrats on the win. I hope ya can figure something out. hopefully the sponsor will work with ya. I hated FCAT testing when we lived in florida. :cussing:
 
:sunny: My response to a question like that is that it never hurts to ask. The worse that could happens is that they say no, but you never know they may say yes! Good Luck!
 
You can go by yourself or bring a friend. It does not hurt to ask as the worst thing that can be is that you are out of a prize. I have seen sites substiture prizes especially if the story is very touching.
