Believe it or not, this is my third trip win of the year (the first one was a cruise). Amid the Pandemic, I was wondering how this was going to be handled.
The original prize a trip to California, tickets to all events for the entire weekend, hotel stay, and spending money.
Travel was/is highly discouraged; so the trip turned into a cash prize of $10,300.
So, I'm glad I didn't ignore the win.
Lesson learned, enter those TRIP sweepstakes anyway. There's a good chance they will substitute the prize with cash or give you enough time to travel at a later date!
