Gourmet/Kayak Winner

I won the Gourmet/Kayak instant win contest back in May. At first I was told I could choose which destination from five or six that I could go to one of KSL Resorts. I chose one in California but now they are telling me I "have" to go to one in Texas. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems like if you get to choose, then thats exactly what you should get to do. I am really disapointed about this. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about this. Here's the thing though. The sweepstakes rules indicate a choice, I was emailed by Kayak that I won a trip to a specific destination mentioned in the first place winners section but, not my choice or the destination I was considering. Good luck getting to where your going, the sweeps sponsers don't know their rules.

Wow! That stinks. I hope things work out for you. Nothing against TX but I wouldn't want to be dictated where I have to go (especially since it was a choice).
 
I presume you've already pointed out to them that the rules say the location is winner's choice, not their choice. You can always tell them you'll contact your state's attorney general / better business bureau, though I'm not sur ehow much good that does.
