Anyone else noticing more infrequent wins from Goodreads?? I could usually count on about 2 or more book wins a month from them..last few months tho..nada!! Same with my brother in law..he hasn't won anything lately either...maybe it's just me..ones I enter still have around same amount of entrants and they vary in how many, but still..going dry here!

I entered them for yrs, never won a thing so I dropped them.
Much later, saw so many winners threads so I started entering them again & won a whole bunch of books!
Stuff like this is why I came up with;
The Sweeper's Credo:
Enter and forget it.
Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.
Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.
If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.
I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!
I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!
So hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - and you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

Yeah but for the last 3 years I've ALWAYS won at least ONE book a month and I enter for my genres everyday...last 3 months nothing..which is weird considering the last 3 years..even contacted them thinkning something was wrong with my email/account..nope..just a loser!
Maybe your timing is working for something else & you'll see it, but not until later 
My 1st worst dry spell where went from winning multiple littles multiple times a week or sometimes multiple wins in a day - ended with a great win of a camera,
Another bad dry spell ended w/my biggest win of $10,000, so I really do believe in the Sweepers Credo
