Have to share this. I just found out that the TV show my fiance works for is up for an Emmy. This is the first time for them and they are going up against "The View" and "The Ellen Degeneres Show". Does anyone watch Danny Lipford ( he's the show host/owner not my fiance ) and "Today's Homeowner"? They also do weekly segments on "the Weather Channel" and "The Early Show"...........Way to go Today's Homeowner!...... :headbang:

Thank you, I hope they win too but they have some very stiff competition. I'm really proud of them, those guys work so hard. I'm not fond of The View myself but Ellen Degeneres is a riot. I look for her to get it.

Thanks ping. I appreciate everyone's support. This is so big for them. I'm moving to Mobile this summer to get married, right in the middle of hurricane season too. Mark and I have waited 3 years, not by choice but because of my many accidents. I swear I'm accident prone. :crazytongue: Four bad accidents in three years but nothing is stopping me now.

Congrats of the wedding...my daughter is accident prone so I do understand in a way! She is like a walking cartoon :crazytongue:

congrats on the nominee. I did hear the announcements the other day on the view but didn't remember this show. Best of luck to him and the show. Also congrats on the marriage and be carefull from now on lol.

thanks pmeek and miki.....I told them about this site and that we are all cheering for them. Danny is on cloud nine just to be nominated. It's a big honor. This show started out as a construction business, then they started a magazine "Today's Homeowner"......The next thing you know they have a TV show and it has built from there. All this in only 10 years. They were also given a 10 year celebration party last fall by This Old House. I didn't get to go but I heard it was awesome. Maybe next time...... :sunny:
