Gleam wants control of my accounts

I will do certain giveaways and then I will get another window pop up asking to give "Gleam permission to manage my youtube account" - I don't like this at all, I don't need anyone managing my personal accounts but ME. What is this Gleam? Can we NOT have anything to do with this "Gleam"?

lokigsd - I did a search for "give Gleam permission to manage my youtube account"

https://gleam.io/docs/actions/youtube

[h=1]Authentication[/h]If a user connects their YouTube account or performs an action that requires authorisation, then they will be required to authenticate with the Gleam Competitions YouTube app.
Please note, these are the default permissions for any app on YouTube. Gleam will not do anything via the API without your explicit click or permission whilst entering a campaign.

Gleam is a sweepstakes platform like woobox, rafflecopter, viralsweep, shortstack, capterra, etc. These platforms allow a business to use a "template" to write their own sweep and save the cost of using a sweepstakes promotion co. like Prize Logic or HelloWorld.

It's not just YouTube. They will do that with Twitter as well. I avoid them like the plague. I don't want anyone to be posting tweets for me or have that kind of control with my accounts.

It's nice that I am not the only person who see's this as a serious problem. I don't care if a business wants to use it as a cookie cutter program, I do care that I have control over my own accounts. It's not good for sweep users, we should have the opportunity to NOT use Gleam and still have the opportunity to do the sweep. :(
