Firefox speed determined by restart

I was wondering if other members using Firefox have a problem with speed and checking/unchecking boxes and their Roboform speed. I've noticed that if I restart pc, Firefox regains spunk and speed. This seems arcaic since we're dealing with computer technology and the browser shouldn't weaken. Thanks
