Fedex delievery at 9:20 PM

:sunny: Yahoo!!! Fedex just delievered a Weber Silver One-Touch kettle Grill from the Publix/Pepperidge Farm Summer Sweepstakes. I can't believe they are delievery so late in the evening. She said the Christmas rush is going strong & she's working long hours on a regular basis now. She came in & got some Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways chip cookies & Coke Sweepstakes to go. She looked so tired.
 
Congrats! How nice of you to give her some treats...I can't believe they are working holiday hours already. I think America has officially lost sight of what the holidays are about....
 
Thanks everyone. I'm with you Anikka, the holidays are lost to commercialism. It's terrible to see it in the store before you even get to celebrate Thanksgiving must less Halloween Sweepstakes. We're rushed to get to work, to get home every day, etc... so I guess it only makes sense that they rush the months i.e. year along too.
 
You certainly showed the right holiday spirit by inviting her in and giving her some treats. Good for you and congrats on your win!

Although sadly nowadays you need to be extra careful about inviting in anyone you don't know no matter how legit they may appear.

I always feel bad for UPS and Fed Ex drivers, it's a really hard job and they aren't paid well at all!
