Hi All:

Surprise by snail mail today. Unilever $50 Family Dollar gift card from Suave Simplfies Sweeps. Called to make sure it was-activated, first guy who answered phone told me he could not help me and to go to the store, or call "Customer Service", @ 704-847-6961 (they were closed, LOL), 2nd call I made was to see if there was a balance on the card (there was), 3rd call to talk to a different person, I finally met with success (she actually had a clue).

Explained the problem dannwo had, and she suggested perhaps dannwo's card might not have been activated before it was mailed. Interesting to say the least. Does Family Dollar try to get out of activating the smaller gift cards, which there are more of, hoping people will give up? Or was it an oversight?

I am going to make a call to "Customer Service" tomorrow to check it out. It seems kind of "Grinchy" to me. Will be curious to see what they have to say.
