I have avoided going on Facebook up to this point but there are so many sweeps and contests being offered I'm getting extremely tempted. This may be a really ignorant question but can you go on Facebook and say as little as possible about yourself and not be hounded by Facebook and others and still enter contests?
 
I'm no longer on facebook, but when i was, i found out that when i entered their contests, my wall was just bombarded with the advertisers that i entered contests from. It was getting to be too much for me to hide posts from them. I didn't really like it.
 
:sunny: You can set up a facebook account with little imformation and just use it for entering the contests. Yes, you will get lots of posts from the sites but if you are just using it to enter it shouldn't matter.
