I also won a few times on the last cycle on the Caffeine & so far nada on ths cycle.
I've been entering sweeps online for about 3 1/2 years, and have noticed that the sweeps giving out lots of prizes where many members post wins elude me, and the ones where there are few prizes I'll hit on.
One sweeps in particular frustrated me to no end (multiple winners - some times the same people every day, and it was 1 win per person :nono: ) this happened early on, and I came close to giving up this hobby in disgust because of it.
Especially since there was so much negativity posted at that time.
Well, I instead developed my sweeping philosophy. It's simple really - I just enter and forget it.
When I see others abusing the system to win more than the rules allow, I look to the sponsors to do their job and police their sweeps - complaining only serves to motivate the sponsors to make entering more difficult. The security codes came on the heels of a much abused sweeps by DELL.
Sorry to have gone off track - my point is I don't worry about who enters - I just worry about me, and I ensure I follow the rules. If I see a fellow sweeper posting they aren't following the rules (usually because they are ignorant of them) I'll let them know the limits - ie: 1 prize per person/HH. But ultimately, it's up to each of us to decide if we want to jeopardize our hobby by ignoring those rules.
I also don't worry about how many prizes there are (or how few) if I would like to try for them, and I'm eligible, I go for it - someone will win, and unless I try, it won't be me, now that I AM sure of!!! :headbang:
