Email flooded with "big win" sweepstakes? What's legit?

Hi guys, I am an almost 1 month old new sweeper. I am getting tons of emails from sites that I didn't initiate. Could I get some guidance on the legitimacy of these sites. I would really appreciate it. Thank you! Tracey
