I've entered about 12 or 14 pinterest contests so far, haven't won anything. I try to pick the ones that have random winners out of all correct entries, not ones that are judged on merit. One exception was the BHG dream house, I actually had fun with that.
It's a pain having to put a hashtag word on every pin, which they all seem to require, but I can put together a 10-pin board in less than 5 minutes. Like all my sweeps, I weigh the time involved with the possible prize - no way am I going to create a 10-pin board for a puny prize I don't even want. I will also need to go in my account and delete the boards that didn't win, but I forgot to keep track of their ending dates, so that's another hassle to contend with.
