You are, and were, right Amy! Thanks again for your help with that old one..I've had my phone near me ever since. This win was a shock because the contest ended so long ago.(ended 4/1-notified 6/1) I was thinking maybe I wasn't the original winner. It was another shock because I saw the first line of the email on my iPod "We're happy to let you know you're a winner in the Duracell Powering Overtime Challenge..." and I figured I had won a 12-pack of AAA batteries, or something small, so I didn't even open it for a little while. Thanks everyone...Good Luck to ALL!

gates2112 - I have a theory that those who win big tend to win BIG. :crazytongue: I'm really into patterns, and I saw one emerging, so I figured it was just a matter of time for you! :headbang:

I'll see a few "It's already 4 months into the year and I haven't won a trip yet" types of posts - those people average at least 1 trip win a year!

So when I hit a biggie after 6 years of {mostly} small prizes, I was STOKED - but it looks like my "cycle" is long, since that was over 2 years ago :crazytongue:

Oh yeah - so, theory: knowing you DID hit a biggie means you know you CAN hit a biggie, means it WILL happen! :laughing:

Did that make sense? :scratch: :laughing:
 
Absolutely Amy. I know it's hard for those who haven't won a big one to stay (as) consistent because of the belief that it's just too long of a shot. Winning a big one breeds the belief that it's totally possible which then leads to being more consistent/persisent...for me at least.

I know, right? And MUCH pithier than what I wrote, lol!!! :crazytongue:

I try to get it across to them that it IS possible with the Sweeper's Credo - but some think I post it TOO often, lol!!! :whistle:
 
I just won again...crazy! Just got home and it was waiting for me. Anyhoo...The Sweeper's Credo IS the key. The only way to get an edge (for dailys at least) is enter EVERY day. If you do that, you've done ALL you can do. That's the way I look at it.

lol - so that's why my mailbox/porch has been empty - they are going to your house!!! :crazytongue: :laughing:

I agree - lately I've been just entering my saved sweeps, as quick as I can, so I can get back to reading - I'm a total news junkie :whistle:

So I *know* I need to catch up, and put more "oomph" into entering, but I figure I at least am entering every day :laughing:
