DojoMojo giveaways

These are the ones with $150-$300 to over $1,000 gift cards/shopping sprees to the same companies, 3 or 6 month subs to wine or cheese boxes, and usually a trip to Mexico/somewhere tropical. There's one going around for a trip to Tahoe if anyone's seen that one. Anyway has anyone ever personally won one of these, or know somebody who has? I don't think I've ever seen a winner announcement for any of them.

There are typically two companies involved in a sweepstakes. The Sponsor (S C Johnson) and the Administrator/Promoter (PrizeLogic). Usually the Sponsor lacks the knowledge of the Federal and various State sweepstakes laws, so they hire a Promoter/Administrator to design the sweepstakes and manage it. The Sponsor provides the prize(S), and the Promoter acts as the Fulfillment Co. that awards and send out the prize(s). PrizeLogic is a Promoter and has been around for years. If you check the rules for the various sweeps you enter, you'll usually find a Promotion Co. listed. ePrize, Don Jagoda, Marden-Kane and Ventura Associates are other Promotion companies that you may find, although there probably are hundreds of them in the US.
