I have 2 dogs and they are great companions but sometimes they remind me of my children when they were growing up. They follow me everywhere. And I mean everywhere. I don't have a moments peace. Even when I close the door one of them will sit there and whine. I tell you I can't wait til they grow up and move out :laughing:

:laughing: I love them both but can I send them somewhere for a couple days? I need a vacation. The one is a shelter dog and she's really timid but the other one is a Pomeranian and he was also given to me.

They have some pretty fancy hotels you can send your dogs to, if you have allot of money you don't want. But if you have that much money you don't want I will babysit for a few days. lol.
And I get drove crazy pretty regular. don't know if I should tell you how many are here, lets see, there are at last count, dogs- toy pom pom, peanut-small wiener mix. Hersey-lab, shadow-sheltie mix. ruby-German Shepard, barney-beagle, then we get into cats, there are pooh,lighting,Oreo Sweepstakes,Gabe,stewart,lily,sissy,frosty,baby,tiger,needles,uno,bobbie sue, Mary,charman,Chevy,hollis,dabber,Linus,savy,rue,flash,Winston,Billie,shy,sugar, Kaylee,robbie,madonna, and Hyde, and I am sure I missed someone, then we move to the cows, these are not butter cows are selling cows, these are pet cows, we have molly and doll baby. Now I will tell you the rest of the story, I am not some weird animal hoarder or crazy cat dog lady, all though I am definitely crazy, We run a no kill animal shelter. Most of the kitties are leukemia positive and people do not want them. only one is symptomatic, the rest that are positive have no symptoms, but will pass it to others if they are not current on shots. I spend most of my extra money and all my extra time taking care of all my babies, but they have paid me back 10times over with love and loads of laughter. sometimes I want to go running through the hills and never come home, but overall it is worth it. By the way we live on 10acres and have 10 sheds, 1 barn, 1stable shed and allot of pens, fences and such, no one lives on a chain and no one runs loose. and everyone is fixed and has all shots. We have been truly blessed in that we receive no outside help, but have always been able to feed and care for them all and such and they all get better medical care then me. lol anyway I really understand wanting a day off. I suppose you could drop them here, it would take a day or two for me to notice they didn't belong here. lol

Yes I agree, most the time I don't have enough hands to pet everyone that wants attention, but get there. And I wish sometimes I could travel or go visit out of town for a day or two. but you cant just leave and expect someone else to do all this, At least my kids grow up and leave, my animals just look at me and think, ha ha I got her right where I want her. She isnt going nowhere for the next 50 years. lol
