Does anyone check /ask for the list of winners after

a sweeps has ended? Just curious. I've always wondered about that. If no one ask for a list of winners or 'the winner', the company/promoter could actually just not give the prize away. Unless, it's a really big prize like HGTV. lol
If the company/promoter don't give the prize away, could they get in trouble?

I don't check. I'll know if I won when I'm notified and/or the prize just shows up. The sponsor isn't going to withhold awarding prizes unless the sweepstakes was voided out before it ended for various reasons like hacking, etc. I only check those that state you have to check back to see if you're a winner.
