Do you return Affidavits by regular mail?

I was notified by email that I have won a trip and I was emailed an affidavit to sign, get notarized and return within 10 days. I returned the affidavit within a day by certified mail. Now, I have gotten an email, telling me I will be disqualified tomorrow due to my failure to return the affidavit. Of course, I replied to this email with the tracking number of the certified letter and I checked the Post Office tracking and it states that the company was notified of the letter but failed to claim it. Obviously, I am frustrated..... but I want to ask how others mail in affidavits. Do you send certified or regular mail? Thank you. And of course any other advice is appreciated.

I usually try to fax it back if that option is available..........

The last one I sent priority mail with the tracking number. Another I sent Express mail again with tracking because it was a trip with short notice. But what I also did was send emails asking if they got my affadavit since I was so excited about the win that way I was sure everything was okay.

I've only had two that I've had to send and sent both of them by regular mail but I did scan them in and e-mail beforehand. I also e-mail a few days before it is due back just to make sure they have received it.

Almost all affy's I have had were faxed back. Several time I received a FedEx prepaid envelop to put the affy in for return to them. I have also scanned and emailed them back. The ones that didn't have a fax or return envelop I would send back by usps with delivery confirmation. That's odd that they wouldn't pick it up. Was it returned to a fulfillment compnay? Hope it all works out for you.

Yep, I always follow up on affys, since they usually are dealing with multiple winners/promos and their priorities are 180% out from mine.

As you've discovered sc2466, yours can fall through the cracks!
