I often ask myself that very question when coming across 20-50 of these types of emails a day. Do people actually fall for this stuff? If yes, then who?

With the "help me, my daughter needs a kidney transplant!", the "you've just inherited a million euros!", and the "your email was chosen for the british lottery!", I become extremely irritated that scum like this have no qualms about stealing hard-earned money from decent people. You know there has to be a special place in hell for people like that, at least I'd like to think so.

I've been noticing more and more elderly people being duped by these a-holes. On the news the other night, we had seen where a nigerian man and woman convinced an elderly lady to withdraw large sums of money in return for a new roof, windows, and future earnings from some business venture. They didn't con her thru email, they conned her by phone and convinced her to meet them in a shopping center's parking garage. Luckily for her a gentleman overheard what these people were trying to do to her and alerted police. Police intervened just as the elderly lady was about to make an ATM withdrawl.
