Do Not Enter

I would like a sticky for all those places that lure people in, promising big sweepstakes entries, and then have you fill out endless forms, only to just leave your browser hanging. I mean the kind of places that ask you 100 questions and then never give you a chance to even enter. I'm sure many of you have run into such a place.

If we all just post here our experiences then it will save many people time and energy.

If you find any sweeps listed at SA that NEVER allow a real entry, please use the Report Problem link for that specific sweeps.

If you mean the ones that require a lot of time and energy to get to the entry form? We usually use the Comment(s) link for that specific sweeps to let our fellow sweepers know. Many sweeps have loose privacy policies, and we are all responsible for reading them, along with the rules, before we commit our info.

Just like SA/SP doesn't control how sponsors/JA's run their sweeps, neither do they judge legitimate sweeps that post winners - SA is a sweeps aggregator - although SA links to many different sweepstakes, SA does not administer the linked sites.

As you enter more sweeps, you'll learn to quickly determine what your threshold is - some only enter from sponsors that are well known while others enter for everything

Wait, you did say those that never give you a chance to even enter!

SA doesn't list those, so I don't understand the point? If you are going elsewhere to find sweeps, that's fine, but why should SA give you a platform to watch out for sweeps that their competition lists?

Besides, those fly by night, just want to get you to buy something/tag you for ads fake sweeps are just that - fly by night! They crop up and disappear so fast you'd be behind the eight ball most likely! :crazytongue:

My husband saw a post on a friends wall from another friend about getting a free Dell pc and since I have started to sweep thought it was legit( I could have told him NO if he asked) so he clicked on the post and gave his info and within seconds he got a phone call about life insurance, he was p** off. If only he asked
