Couple important strategy questions....

hope u can help as I am relatively new at this. I have been bookmarking the entry pages and going there directly to enter. Now I read in a sweepstakes column that may DQ me and that the sponsor wants us to enter from the home page. Any advice on this?
Next question: When it says winners randomly selected, is the time of entry used? Otherwords, is it important to submit your entry at a specific time at the top of the minute? One reads so many different prospectives on these things. Just would like your opinions. Thank you!! ......J

I enter via bookmark & I always try to bookmark the form page and not the home page. The only exception to this is when the rules state that entrant MUST entry via the home page. I have only found a few rules that have this additional requirement though.

As for being DQ'ed for doing this, I don't think anyone has anyway of knowing for sure.

The random draw I can't answer. I assume that the majority of the time if a sweeps is "online" then the winners are picked randomly by computer. How this is done I can't tell you. :smt001

thanks! It is sure easier for me to enter thru the form page. I just was thinking maybe it was against the rules or something. I guess as long as you keep an eye out for the ID session and are sure each time is a different session, it is OK then....J

most sponsors want real people visiting their site as the rules can get confusing but you are doing the right thing as sherrie has pointed out. As far as the choosing of winners most now are done by computer generation as it is the easiest way to pick winners out of thousands of entries, there are a few that print out the entries and place them in the old style drawing barrels and combine them with mail-in type entries for draw. There are no real secrets to winning, just enter and forget it and go on to the next entry. good luck sweepin :smt006
