Gift card credits will apply to your next trip or Uber Eats order by default, but you can select a different payment method before you make your request off (credits will be turned off only for that ride). Any remaining balance can be applied to your next ride or order.

This has already been redeemed by someone. It would be nice if people posted that they used the code so others don’t waste their time. Alternatively perhaps when generous people have freebies to offer asking interested people to pm them for the code might avoid this kind of situation.
