Continental Airlines "Potential" Winner-Help I'm new & not sure if this is ascam
I received the following email:
Important notice! Ventura Associates, Inc. is the independent administrator for the Continental [Airlines] Magazine Sweepstakes sponsored by Anthonys Key Resort, c/o Bahia Tours, Inc., ( 699 S. Federal Highway , Hollywood , FL ). Your August online entry into that Sweepstakes has been selected as a potential winner!
We say "potential winner" because the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes state that before any entrant can finally be determined as the winner and the prize awarded, the potential winner must complete, sign and notarize an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability / Publicity Release (Affidavit). This is to verify eligibility and confirm your address and that you are in compliance with the Official Rules. Per the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes, to claim any prize, the completed and notarized Affidavit with your original signature must be returned to us within 7 days of this notice but no later than Tuesday, October 14, 2008, noon ET. If we don 't receive it in time and/or you do not meet the qualifications specified in the affidavit and Official Rules, we'll have to select an alternate winner in keeping with the Official Rules.
I can't find any info on the sweepstakes. I google it and it goes to a different prize. Help!!!!!
