I got the same thing, and agree. Makes me mad when they try to pass of a coupon (and not even a great one) as a prize. They should at least word it as "You didn't win, but here's a coupon you can use"
I haven't played that one, but ............ALSO I think it should specify, for example,(in rules) when coupons are emailed -rather- than mailed. I have no printer hooked up, and have had issues in the past with emailed coupons.
oh I feel your pain! I hate it when a promotion will send you an email entitled *WINNER* and you eagerly open up that email and then it goes on to tell you the name of some other person who won - arghhh!!!
Yes, it is a let-down to read that in an email, and from a sweeper's point of view, it would be better not to call a discount (or coupon, coupon code, offer, etc.) a prize. I wasn't surprised when I got that email because I remember seeing the message when I entered the instant, and these guys aren't the only ones to use this approach to advertising/reaching potential customers. Hopefully, some NBA fans will use the offer - who knows?
Anyway, I moved this to General Sweeps Talk, since it is a discussion thread, and not a win (unfortunately).
