certified letters recieved today.

hello all! i came home to find 2 notices for certified letters in the mailbox today.one is tpg rewards ,which is most likely my $50 sprite check i've been waiting on,although i didn't think that would be certified mail. the next one is from area code 76574,which i googled and comes up taylor,tx. does anyone remember any contests headquartered in taylor,tx,or ever received anything from that zip code? i can hardly wait until the post office opens tomorrow morning.the only thing is,they are at 2 different stations on opposite sides of town,so i really gotta work for whatever it is!! :wave:
 
TPG REWARDS IS SPRITE, I GOT MINE YESTERDAY. THOUGHT IT WAS KINDA WEIRD A CERTIFIED LETTER, TOO. I DONT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER ONE IS, I HOPE ITS SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOU! CONGRATS!!! :sunny:

okay----the first letter was the sprite check,but i won 50,and they only sent 25.i called the number and they're supposed to be getting back to me within 48 hours. the mystery letter was not a prize notification,but still a good surprise.it was from the home office of the steakhouse where i work.it seems they had a payroll problem,and they owed me $230.00 from about 2 years ago,so i have to sign a paper,and they are sending a check.i knew they were based out of taylor,texas,but i couldn't figure out why they would be sending me a certified letter.i even joked with my husband yhat maybe it was a bonus from work!! i guess i was right! :) :)
 
That's a pretty sweet bonus from your work! Congrats. I hope you get the Sprite thing worked out OK.
