You are not alone! I struggle with them daily. The only thing that can sometimes make them better is to hit the arrow to ask for another one. Often, the second or third time is much easier than the first captcha given. I wish they would all return to the simple word captchas and give up these silly photos that are so hard to see. Also, there is an audio version on some that you might find an easier option. Sadly, these things are necessary to prove you are human because there are so many cheaters. 
I do that..seems to only work on the 9 square block, not the 16..it still sucks cuz now seems more than usual. I keep clicking refresh until I get a 9 block and even then you have to do it really slow or it will say try again..arghh!.You are not alone! I struggle with them daily. I agree!! Sometimes I can breeze thru my sweeps..others it captcha crap all day!

I wish there was a way around it. Sometimes the captchase are almost impossible
. I get that they want to deal with bots/spam, but goodness. I prefer the ones where its just a simple check this box or which of these animals has two legs.
