I thought I would share another 2 tips I've discoved while entering captchas on the various Meredith Corporation magazine sweepstake
forms - this was my first topic:

And here are the various magazines my tip will work for, and all others that look similar (you know it when you see them - you have to click on Play to see the captcha):

Tip #1: don't bother entering the last 2 characters in ANY of the captchas you see. For example, I entered "RA" instead of "RAV4" and it worked. I tried leaving the last 3 off but it didn't accept it, so 2's the limit. UPDATE: a few don't like this, instead you can leave off just the last character for those.
Tip #2: When the dreaded "Play" button pops up and you have to click it to find out what the captcha is, there are 2 types: it will either display the captcha immediately or a short commercial will run that will delay displaying the captcha. The tip: for commercials, if you recognize the commercial from its screen and you already know the captcha, you can enter it immediately without having to play the commercial. For example, Toyota Sweepstakes's commercial for the Prius is obvious, so just enter the minimum necessary immediately and you'll save time ("toyotapriu").
That's it - not complicated, but if you're entering multiple Meredith sweeps every day all year long, it adds up and besides, it feels good to outsmart 'em a little bit - GL
