Cancer sucks!

Hi gang. Done with the treatments but still too sick to focus on entering contests. I do enter some on facebook. I have throat cancer which not only hurts but totally has taken my voice away for 5 months now. We can only pray that my voice comes back and it may take awhile. Really bad since I am a music teacher. I have zero income and rely on family and friends to cover my bills. I have applied for disability but guess it takes months to kick it (if you are approved). I may be getting help with my mortgage through a program that keeps people from going into foreclosure. All I can say is WHAT A MESS my life is right now.

Very frustrated because I am anxious to have my life back but know I have to be patient and cancer takes a long time to heal from.

Thanks for updating your SA family. I know I and many others care about you and miss your unique and interesting winning posts and links to your collages. Most of all, right now, I am glad to hear you made it through this difficult phase of your treatment. I am sorry for the current state of your health and hope you will improve (one day at a time now, right?), and I am really sorry to learn about the resulting financial difficulties.

Thankfully you have the support of family and friends nearby, and I hope you will continue to heal with the least possible amount of stress and anxiety. I don't know exactly how to say it, but I think you know what I mean.

Thanks arrtup. The worse is the trache (I'm still waiting to get it removed, but so much congestion) and sore throat which makes it painful to eat or drink anything. Lost 30 pounds! My old blue jeans fit again.

Aw, hope the trache gets removed soon. Must be uncomfortable! Also hope someone figures out the sluggish problem (from your SP post) so you can resume sweeping.
