1. OFFICIAL CODES: Ten-digit unique official codes (Official Code) are available in specially-marked packages of SKITTLES® Brand and STARBURST® Brand packages. For a free Official Code and official rules, while supplies last, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Text Thru Time Code/Rules Request, P.O. Box 5751, Blair, NE 68009-5751. (VT residents may omit return postage.) Requests must be received by December 11, 2007. Limit: one request per outer envelope. Official Codes are not transferable. Game ends at 11:59 AM (ET) on January 2, 2008. Official Codes void if not obtained through authorized channels.
2. TO PLAY: There are two ways to play: ONLINE: Complete official registration form available through

www.starburst.com, enter your Official Code, then follow the on-screen instructions to proceed. SHORT CODE: (AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THE FIRST TWO MILLION TRANSMISSIONS, AFTER WHICH SHORT CODE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT TRANSMISSIONS AND PLAY/ENTRY WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY ONLINE): Transmit Official Code by wireless device to Short Code RETRO and follow the instructions to proceed. Sponsor not responsible for any charges for wireless device transmissions. Standard text messaging rates apply to send and receive transmissions. Not all wireless phones have service required to participate. Before playing by wireless device, check with your wireless provider for service availability and charges. You must use a different Official Code each time you enter, whether you enter online or by wireless device. Each entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the record holder of the e-mail address or wireless device number, as applicable, from which the entry originated. If you are the first entrant to enter an Official Code online or transmit an Official Code by wireless device, and it is received on or after the predetermined time and date for the most recent prize message made available, you will receive a game message that says Congratulations! You won, and you will win the prize indicated, subject to verification of eligibility. Winning dates and times will be randomly predetermined under the supervision of D.L. Blair, Inc. After you play the Game you will be automatically entered in the Second Chance Drawing.
3. PRIZES AND ODDS: (1) Cruisin Prize: Winners choice of (1) a new
ford sweepstakes Mustang (Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $25,000) or (2) a vintage Ford Mustang (model year 1965 or 1966, ARV: $25,000). Model year, color, accessories and other features of the new Ford Mustang and the vintage Ford Mustang to be determined by Sponsor. Vintage Ford Mustang will be awarded in as is condition. In lieu of either Grand Prize car, winner may elect to receive $25,000 cash. Election of either the new or vintage Ford Mustang, or the cash election if applicable, is irrevocable and must be made at the time of prize verification. (1) Cool Cash Prize: $10,000. (100) Gamer Prize Level Video Game Systems. An Xbox 360 video game system. ARV: $300 ea. (100) Gamer Prize Level Atari Flashback Classic Game Consoles. (50,000) Downloadin Prize Level Ringtones. One free ringtone provided by RingCandy. Not all wireless devices have the ability to download a ringtone. Check with your wireless provider for details on your wireless device service, its capabilities and possible charges. Sponsor not responsible for inability to download or utilize wireless device ringtone. Ringtone downloads expire March 31, 2008. ARV: $0.99 ea. Total ARV of all prizes: $319,000. All gift certificates, gift cards and gift codes are redeemable in accordance with their respective stated terms and conditions. Additional restrictions may apply. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entrants entering Official Codes and the date and time of each entry. Limit: one prize having a value of $600 or more per family or household. Sponsor reserves right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. All taxes, title, licensing and registration and other fees are the sole responsibility of prize winners.
4. INSTANT WIN PRIZE CLAIMS: Follow the prize claim directions which will appear immediately after the prize winning message. Short code participants must go to either

www.starburst.com and register to complete the prize claim process. CLAIMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 AM (ET) ON JANUARY 12, 2008. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of prizes (other than song downloads and ringtone downloads). Unclaimed prizes having a value of more than $100 will be awarded in a Second Chance Drawing described below (assuming sufficient number of eligible entries). Other unclaimed/unredeemed prizes will not be awarded. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the unlikely event that winning messages for any prize level are distributed in numbers greater than the number stated in these rules for such prize level, that stated number of winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level.
5. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: Any prizes having a value of more than $100 that are not claimed will be awarded in a Second Chance Drawing, assuming a sufficient number of entries. Each time you play the Game, you will be automatically entered in the Drawing. Winners will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about February 1, 2008. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received and the number of unclaimed prizes valued at more than $100 that are included in the Second Chance Drawing. Second Chance Drawing winners who entered by wireless device will be notified by wireless device at the number from which the entry originated or, if updated, the wireless device number on file as of January 12, 2008. Wireless device number may be changed after entry by visiting www.skittles.com or www.starburst.com and following applicable instructions. Second Chance Drawing winners who entered online will be notified by mail.
6. ELIGIBILITY: Game/Drawing open to individual legal residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico and U.S. territories and possessions), age 13 or older as of April 2, 2007, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsor, its affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies.
7. VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Prize claims subject to verification, and drawing to be conducted, by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Game/Drawing. Winners of prizes having a value of $600 or more will, and other prize winners may, be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner or if prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable. If prize is won by a minor, it may be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian in Sponsors sole discretion. Winners agree to use of name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law, any such use with respect to minors to be subject to prior approval of parent or legal guardian. Prize claims and entries are sole property of Masterfoods USA and will not be returned.
8. GENERAL: This Game/Drawing is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Game/Drawing will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Game/Drawing must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America. Sponsor and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, or misdirected entries, mail or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register for or to play the Game is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or play will be disqualified. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Game/Drawing, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Game/Drawing should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsors control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Game/Drawing. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted at

www.starburst.com and a random drawing to award all remaining prizes will be held from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the Second Chance Drawing prior to such time. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his or her entries) from this Game/Drawing or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he tampers with the entry process or if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Game/Drawing. Sponsors reserve the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in this Game/Drawing, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Game/Drawing. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
9. CAUTION. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GAME/DRAWING IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
