Can anything be done about this?

DH won a $100 GC from Guiness that had to be redeemed by phone. During the time I was in a wrist cast I didn't see what they had online like he asekd me to. Six weeks later we call and they say the GC expired. The letter didn't say there was an expiration date & we only had it for 6 weeks. I contacted the person that had sent me the email w/ the code and they don't respond. Is there anything that can be done about this? I mean it takes them 6 weeks to notify you and then if you delay even a little bit they say that it's expired!? :cussing: Something's wrong with this stuff! :cry:
 
:crazytongue: Contact the sponsor (Guinness*) directly. Not the fulfillment company. I will bet you a keg of Guinness that they will bend over backwards to make you happy. Fib and tell them it is the only beer you drink and that you are really disappointed!

Nothing a company hates worse than an unhappy customer (or potential customer). :sunny:

I felt like it after this ordeal! :laughing: He couldn't find anything (you couldn't redeem it for beer :cheers: and that was all he was interested in!) I'll try contacting Guinness again. Thanks for the advice.
 
Woo Hoo! It only took a month (and being on hold for 10 minutes 3 different times :cussing:), but I finally got to place the order. Unfortunately some of the things weren't available any more that we had chosen... but oh, well... got some cool t-shirts out of the deal. Now I think I'll go drink me a non-Guiness beverage :cheers:
