Calls all day!

Well, I guess I blew it....This doesn't shock me at all.. but, Things where going good for my first month of sweeping. And now, suddenly, I started getting 5-8 calls a day, from a handful of different numbers, but it always sounds like the same office, real people, foreign accents. They always say they're from the US government, IRS or grant department. I did a search about these, and they ARE well known scams. They're numbers on the caller ID show a different state, almost every time. One guy even started cursing at me when I called him a scammer! I wish I knew which entry of mine caused it, but I've entered so many, I have no idea. I'm not blaming SA, but All of my entries are from this site however, so be careful. It only takes one bad one to burn your phone number!

Here are some of the bad numbers I got so far. Many of them where blocked or unlisted too. This just started about 2 days ago, before that, I never had a single scam call!

The DNC {Do Not Call} list is no longer in effect if you enter a sponsors promo that you've previously blocked thru the DNC list & if you block them again, before the end of the promotion/prize draws, you will become ineligible to win from them.

The DNC list does NOT block political calls/surveys

The PRIVACY POLICY is where to check if a sponsor will share your info with 3d parties that "may" sell your info to the sleaze-ball "Notification" type calls where they don't ID what you DID win, only what you supposedly entered for, and give you a phone # to call back. A quick google of those phone #'s will usually bring up numerous complaints.

I screen ALL calls, so they just waste their time/energy/money calling me :p

Same here. I've put them in a list with a silent right tone. That's all I can think of to do.

I don't know how you screen calls if big wins often call and then don't leave messages.
 
I have been sweeping for many years and thought I was pretty good at avoiding the bad ones. Apparently there was one out there recently that I should not have entered. I am getting 5 or 6 calls a day, all from different phone numbers like mike said above. What a pain.
