Waiting to hear what happened and how she is, but she is on her way to the hospital. If you pray say a prayer for this girl ~ she hasn't had the best life and was probably coming home from work!

Christina is going to be okay...deer season started in Kentucky yesterday morning and a deer ran out in front of her and she swerved to avoid it. I think she ended up hitting the deer and the ditch both. She is already really sore so she is gonna have a rough couple of days, but it could have been so much worse!!

Big sigh of relief...sweet little girl, just bad circumstances in life!

Glad Christina will be okay. What is the driving age in your neck of the woods?

Tammy, for a small town, you sure have lots going on. I was so glad to hear good news, with your class reunion. Did you have it already?

Wishing you some unexciting moments and joy,

I was thinking the same thing. Seems as though something is always going on there.
So glad to hear that she is ok.

Oh you have no clue ~ lol!! This is like a little Peyton place. We haven't had a murder in a couple of years, but they don't call this Methenberg county for nothing...the things that go on in this town are scary...pulled up at the high school the day after the election and there were 13 State police cars in the front parking lot and a line of policemen a mile long...local police, and county police. Seems some kids weren't to happy with the elections results and decided to make a political statement by making a hit list of the most outspoken Obama supporters at school.

Caitlyn was one of the first kids in the school that morning and her bags were searched and she had a metal detector run over her clothes...which promptly went off when it got to her underwire bra ~ lol!

The economy around here is at a stand still ~ the only real jobs to be had are at the hospital and in the school system and the poverty rate is WAY above the national average. You add that to the couple of natural disasters that have hit us in the last year and it is a recipe for disaster! People here are desperate for anything...it is sad. You can even see it in the faces of the kids in school...there are so many kids that get NO attention what-so-ever and they are willing to do anything to get that attention even if it is illegal. Bad attention is better than no attention at all...

You can get your driver's permit at 16, but have to have almost a full year before you can get a license, I think. This has changed since Travis has gotten his, and Caitlyn is only 15 so I haven 't really gotten to excited to learn the new rules yet...

My reunion was Saturday...we had a ball! It is so funny watching your classmates get zonkered and make fools out of themselves...it will make really good stories for my blogs ~lol! Here is a link to my blog on myspace that has my speech for Saturday night ~ long story, but I ended up giving it to everyone instead of reading it ~ lol...

I don't know if you have to join myspace to read it or not...

Tammy!!

I read your speech just now without being a member of myspace.

Great job! At first, I had goosebumps (arms and legs!), but by the end I was enjoying all the crazy fun you had. Touching and humorous, full of heart. Thanks for posting the link!

Sorry for all the bad times in your community, and hope it won't get too much worse before it gets better. My heart goes out to all the kids, families, old folks...having their own moments of silent or showy desperation.

This is cute:

I love to write when I have time, but that doesn't happen much anymore...thanks for the compliment though. My Dad and my nieces are all really talented, I just sort of coast along ~ lol!

I guess I talk about things that happen around here a lot, but needless to say, I talk a lot ~ lol
